Join the Team and Work at Cannon Mountain and Franconia Notch State Park

SPECIAL SNOWSPORTS INSTRUCTORS NEEDED
In February Cannon Hosts a large number of students from the United Kingdom and we need additional instructor/guides.  These special Instructors earn lift tickets for themselves, family or friends.  Special instructors need to be competent skiers and will go through training session.  For more info, drop by the Brookside Learning Center.

New Instructor Apprentice Program
For kids age 15, this is a “volunteer” program that will help us with immediate staffing challenges and encourage them to become Cannon Mountain ski and snowboard instructors at age 16. The kids will get specific training and be used to assist in Cannon Kids, especially the red and orange groups, and with inside hosting. 

Apprentices:
-Must be age 15 no later than December 1.
-Will get a minimum of one hour training prior to assignment plus be able to join any of our regular training sessions throughout the winter.
-Will qualify for an employee season pass.
-Must commit to a minimum of one day per weekend and four weekday days during the holiday weeks. The working hours will be 9 am to 3 pm.
-Will always be teamed with an instructor and never be left with the primary responsibility for a student. Skiers and snowboarders are welcome; skill level is not critical although some ski or riding experience is desirable. Prospects should contact Irv Fountain as soon as possible. Space is limited. Compensation will be made for any apprentice who already has a 2010-2011 season pass.
