Vertical Challenge

The Vertical Challenge is a free, family-focused ski and snowboard race tour that travels across the Northeast all winter long. Each tour stop transforms the mountain into an energetic, guest-friendly celebration featuring all-ages racing, sponsor giveaways, music, and an awards ceremony that highlights the spirit of fun and community. The event is open to all ages and abilities from first-timers to seasoned skiers and riders.

Registration is FREE but a Lift ticket or Season Pass is required. Register Day of at the registration table or in advance. 

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES 

7:30 AM – 11:00 AM Registration Open Guests stop by our table to sign up for the day’s race and pick up their bib. Pre-registration is available online, but walk-ups are welcome. 

9:00 AM – 1:30 PM Sponsor Village Open A lively area filled with sampling, giveaways, brand activations, family activities, and engagement opportunities for guests. 

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Racecourse Open Skiers and snowboarders of all ages take timed runs down our fun, family-friendly course. Guests can take one run — it’s all about fun, participation, and cheering each other on. 

1:30 PM Vertical Victory Party & Awards Ceremony A high-energy celebration recognizing racers across all categories. Awards include medals, prizes, and shout-outs for standout moments and participants.
