Aerial Tramway

America's First Aerial Tramway

The Aerial Tram is open thru October 26. Reserve tickets below and save!

The Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway is the first tram to operate in America. The original Tramway opened in 1938 as a way to whisk daring skiers to the top of Cannon Mountain, allowing them to ski more runs than ever before! In 1980 the old tram was replaced with the modern version and more than doubled the passenger capacity. Today the two cable cars bring skiers and summer visitors to the 4,080-foot summit of Cannon Mountain in under ten minutes. On a clear day, you can see the mountains of four states and Canada! At the summit, you'll find spectacular scenic walking paths, a 360-degree observation deck, a café and bar with the highest beer taps in NH and restrooms.

Don't forget to check the weather before you visit! The summit of Cannon is 4,080', it can be much colder at the summit!
