Update 10:15am: Patrol just dropped the rope on Profile, go get it! But use caution as there are snowmaking whales.

We are back to our regularly scheduled programming! Peabody Quad and Cannonball Quad will spin at 9am. We plan to open with 9 trails. Vista Way and Profile will open ungroomed pending patrol inspection this morning. Keep in mind, we are working with early season conditions, and all open terrain right now is intermediate to advanced. Temps were unseasonably warm the last few days and have fallen back into the teens at the summit and twenties at the base with gusty winds out of the SW, expect conditions to be firm and fast today. 

Heads up: There is no access back to the base from the bottom of Cannonball Quad. When you are ready to head to back to Peabody and Notchview Lodge, do not go down the Links, head down Middle Cannon. Snowmakers are working as quickly as they can to fill in Missing Link and Ravine to connect us back to the base from Cannonball.

Snowmaking: Temps have dropped back down into the sweet spot for snowmaking. The focus is on the lower mountain and beginner terrain.  Guns are firing on Missing Link, Middle Ravine, Lower Ravine, Brookside, Turkey Trot, Bear Paw and Rabbit Path.

Patrol would like to remind everyone: DO NOT DUCK ROPES. They are there for an important reason: your safety! Hikers heading up Kinsman Ridge and planning to ski or ride down MUST have a valid Cannon season pass or lift ticket to access our trails.

Uphill: There is no uphill access at this time.
