PRINT REPORT

"Why don't you click your heels three times and go back to Cannon?" - Dave Chappelle

Another fluffy NH Resident Wednesday in the books, and what a day it was! We banked 5 more inches of snow, allowing us to open up 21 trails today, many of them with powdery au naturale conditions. We'll say that again: 21 trails opened today! All of Tuckerbrook is open, the Front5 is poppin' and we've got a few more glade options and liftlines in the mix. If you weren't here today, you'd better be here for these leftovers tomorrow because they will be both sweet and savory!

We're expecting lingering snow showers and flurries in the morning tomorrow with partial clearing midday. Temps will hover in the mid-20s with a mild breeze at both the base and summit. So yeah, another dream day is on the docket-- don't miss it!

8 lifts are scheduled to spin at 9:00am. Groomers will out pushing corduroy on 33 trails overnight, which means half of our open terrain will have natural conditions. You can expect some nice leftover powder stashes on top of packed powder with bumps here and there, along with some stripey goodness on the groomers. A few things to keep in mind: The trails we opened today on the Front5 have natural conditions and snowmaking whalebacks. The Hardscrabbles, Skylight, and the summit glades are all open with natural snow and no snowmaking or grooming. You will find thin cover and natural hazards including rocks, sticks, grass or water bars, so use caution when skiing those trails.

Snowmaking: Snowmakers are mostly shutdown for the moment, though they'll be out sprucing up a few areas overnight. They plan to shift their focus back over to Mittersill next.

Winch Operation: Our crew will be out winching skier's right of Lower Cannon, Taft Training Slope, Gary's, Rocket, and Profile tonight.

Parks: A pop-up park is open on Lower Gremlin. The Huckerbrook Park is open with 9 features. A future park on Tossup is now under construction, so look for more fun features coming soon! Meanwhile, Huckerbrook Under the Lights will run every Friday and Saturday from 4-6pm through February. The park crew put in extra hours to bring you an entirely new park on Huckerbrook, with more features, a more technical line and a guaranteed good time.

Racing: There will be training on Taft Training Slope throughout the day.

Patrol would like to remind everyone: DO NOT DUCK ROPES. They are there for an important reason: your safety! Hikers heading up Kinsman Ridge and planning to ski or ride down MUST have a valid Cannon season pass or lift ticket to access our trails.

Uphill: FULLY OPEN (pending inspection)
The route is as follows: Lower Ravine > Middle Ravine > Upper Ravine (Lowest Section) > Taft Slalom > Summit. Anyone accessing the Uphill Route must have a valid Uphill Pass and armband, available for purchase at the ticket window. Thank you for your cooperation.
