PRINT REPORT

"Yes, yes I do! I like Cannon! I LOVE Cannon!"  - Ebenezer Scrooge

Update @ 1:20 - Cannonball and Eagle Cliff are on wind hold. Patrol is keeping an eye Peabody Quad.

We are officially in a warming trend this week. This morning will start with clear skies, moderate temps and low winds. It is the calm before the storm, so to speak. By mid-morning, SW winds will pick up, and clouds will start to roll in. There is a chance for wind holds late in the day, but it looks like we won't see any precipitation until nighttime. Today is a first chair, first tracks, ski for the morning kind of day!

6 Lifts will spin at 9am with 37 trails open. Groomers were out on 21 trails overnight. Conditions will be machine groomed/packed powder on most open terrain. We have several ungroomed trails with variable conditions. Ski and ride with caution! Ungroomed trails have natural hazards, water bars, and thin spots and will open pending patrol inspection.

Parks: There is a small early season park on skier's left of Lower Cannon. Our crew has a nice setup with a jump, a rail, a box, a low pipe and high pipe.

Snowmaking: Snowmaking is shut down for now but will resume on the other end of this warm spell. Rumor has it they've been eyeing Gremlin.

Racing: There will be race training on Taft Training Slope.

Patrol would like to remind everyone: DO NOT DUCK ROPES. They are there for an important reason: your safety! Hikers heading up Kinsman Ridge and planning to ski or ride down MUST have a valid Cannon season pass or lift ticket to access our trails.

Uphill: Partially OPEN
The route is as follows: Lower Ravine > Middle Ravine > Cannonball Lift. Please Note: Uphillers are not to proceed to the summit as there is no uphill trail access at this time. Your run down will begin at the base of the Cannonball Lift. Anyone accessing the Uphill Route must have a valid Uphill Pass and armband, available for purchase at the ticket window. Thank you for your cooperation.
