SEASON TO DATE SNOW

117”

Today is shaping up to be a legendary President’s Day. Get stoked to rip into packed powder, discover powder stashes in glades, and send it in the park. We are skiing & riding on 23” of fresh snow from last week so the conditions are excellent out there. Don’t miss out on the fun this holiday, make Cannon yours!

9 lifts are scheduled to spin, most open at 8:30am, except for the Aerial Tram which opens at 8:15am, and the Brookside Triple opens at 9am. Groomers have been out overnight on about 58 trails so you can expect machine groomed packed powder conditions across the slopes. The forecast is calling for some snow showers and flurries throughout the morning and sunshine for the afternoon. Plus, we are 99% open with all trails and glades except for The Creek and DJ's Tramline.

The uphill skinning route is will be OPEN today. For safety, make sure to adhere to our uphill skinning policy of staying to uphill skinner's right on the trail, in single file, and to hug the tree line on your way up. Also, keep your eyes up the trail as you proceed.

Snowmaking Plan:
We’ve shut off the snowmaking guns for this holiday week and we’ll regroup after the holiday to see if there’s anything else that needs touching up. For now, the trails are in excellent shape thanks to our AMAZING snowmaking team.

Terrain Park Plan:
Tossup Park is riding well with 6 rails, 2 medium jumps, 1 large jump, and a pill jib. The Huckerbrook Park is open with a few jumps a box and a rail. Parkway is open and features 1 rail, 1 box, 1 small jump, and 4 medium jumps.

Looking Ahead:
Tomorrow the forecast is calling for another 3-5” of snowfall, with a little luck we may be able to open up DJ’s Tramline and The Creek, bringing us to 100% open on all trails and glades. On next Saturday February 22nd we have our last Family Fun Night of the season with a Torchlight Parade & Fireworks Show. We’ll have all the good stuff for you including apres ski entertainment in the Cannonball Pub, a Bouncy House in Peabody Lodge, and Huckerbrook will open under the lights. We’ll also have a movie for Kids in the Brookside Lodge from 4:30pm-6:00pm and the Torchlight Parade & Fireworks show starts at 6:30pm.
