Update @ 2:45pm - Peabody Quad is on Hold.

"Cheers to a new year and another chance to ski Cannon."
- Oprah Winfrey

We picked up 7" of new snow this morning, it's light, it's fluffy, it's good out there. We have a stacked line up of events this weekend from Peabody Prom and Huckerbrook Under the Lights on Friday to Après Music and the kickoff of Safety Saturdays. Be here for it!

Tomorrow temps will remain cold. We are looking at a high of 9 at the base and a high of -4 at the summit. There will be partly cloudy skies to start the day with increasing clouds in the afternoon. Winds will be breezy out of the NW. Be sure to pack extra layers and take frequent breaks.

8 lifts are scheduled to spin at 8:30am. Groomers will be out 32 trails overnight. Expect surfaces to be a machine groomed packed powder, with stashes of powder along the sides of the trails. Vista Way got a partial groom overnight to break up some of the bumps and create a smooth surface underfoot.

Peabody Prom: Don't forget to purchase your tickets for tomorrow night! There will be a limited number available at the door. Don't miss your chance to have Prom King and Queen bragging rights for 2026! More information below.

Snowmaking: Snowmakers are wrapping up on Upper Ravine and Taft Slalom. Look for those trails to be groomed in the near future. Their next move is over to the Front5 by the weekend.

Parks: There is a small park on skier's left of Lower Cannon with 5 features, and Huckerbrook Park is now open with 7 features. Huckerbrook Under the Lights is back this Friday, Jan. 2 and will run every Friday and Saturday from 4-6pm through February. The park crew put in extra hours to bring you an entirely new park on Huckerbrook, with more features, a more technical line and a guaranteed good time. Be here for it!

Racing: There will be race training all day on Taft Training Slope.

Patrol would like to remind everyone: DO NOT DUCK ROPES. They are there for an important reason: your safety! Hikers heading up Kinsman Ridge and planning to ski or ride down MUST have a valid Cannon season pass or lift ticket to access our trails.

Uphill: PARTIALLY OPEN
The route is as follows: Lower Ravine > Middle Ravine > Cannonball Lift. Please Note: Uphillers are not to proceed to the summit as there is no uphill trail access at this time. Your run down will begin at the base of the Cannonball Lift. Anyone accessing the Uphill Route must have a valid Uphill Pass and armband, available for purchase at the ticket window. Thank you for your cooperation.
Overnight Winching Operation: Taft Training Slope, Gary's, & Rocket
