PRINT REPORT

“No duty is more urgent than skiing Cannon today.”
 -James Allen

Good morning, Cannon Folk. The mountain picked up 4" down at the base and 8" up at the summit of soft snow overnight, making for an all-time sleeper powder day! The new snow is full-on pow making for fluffy and light turns, expect heightened totals and wind drifts in areas. For today's temps; you can expect a high of 21 F with a low of 13 F up at the summit, and a high of 33 F with a low of 21 F down at the base. Winds will be out of the west/northwest at a light pace with an occasional gust and skies will clear into the later morning/afternoon. Conditions are set to be machine groomed with a healthy serving of fluff on the sides. Break out the wide planks and come on down to Cannon for some late season powdah slashes!

7 lifts will spin at 9:00a.m. today. Groomers were out on 40 trails overnight. Ski and ride with caution! We had several natural, spring hazards, including rocks, ice and bare spots that will now be covered by new snow. As skier traffic pushes snow around some of those hazards are likely to reappear. It is also a good time to remind you, please do not duck ropes. Patrol will inspect trails in the morning, including ungroomed trails, if a trail is deemed safe it will be opened. If a trail is not open, it is for a good reason.

2026 Spring Events Series:

Saturday, March 28: 80's Day & The Old School Duel
Mark your calendars, ya jabronis! Win sweet prizes in the from our sponsor, Pit Viper. Throw down gnarly daffys, helis, backscratchers and spread eagles in The Old School Duel. Then, catch the Après party sponsored by Sun Cruiser with 80s band, Fast Times. Please Note: The Apres Party will take place in the main room, upstairs in the Peabody Lodge. This allows for more capacity and a better party. However, this requires us to begin removing tables in the Peabody Lodge starting at 2pm so we can create a wicked radical dance floor. The good news: No wristband to enter, no waiting in lines to enter, and more space to let loose. Anyone consuming alcohol will be required to have a 21+ wristband. You will be required to present a valid ID to one of our bartenders to receive a wristband, regardless of your age.

Saturday, April 4: Blizzard Splash Pond
The infamous Blizzard Splash Pond returns! Try to make it across the pond for a chance to win big prizes from Blizzard Skis, Bern Helmets and Pit Viper. You have three chances to win: Best Dressed, Best Crash and Overall Champion.

Sunday, April 5: Easter Egg Hunt
Hop on over to Tuckerbrook for a family friendly easter egg hunt! Eggs will be hidden on Fox Tail and Bear Paw. The Easter Bunny has requested we close the trails while he hides the goods. It can be hidden anywhere on the mountain.
