Swim, Boat and Fish at Echo Lake Beach

Echo Lake Beach is open daily, weather permitting, with snack bar, boat rentals and restrooms available and lifeguards on duty (when the beach is open).

At Echo Lake Beach, visitors can enjoy the beauty of a 28-acre lake with an excellent view. The slopes of Cannon Mountain ski area drop right to the edge of the lake, and the view highlights where the Franconia Range and Kinsman Range meet, creating the notch.

Beach Hours are 10am - 5:30pm.
Echo Lake has a small snack bar, canoe, kayak and pedal boat rentals.
The Snack Shack now carries: sunscreen, bug spray, kids fishing poles, buckets & shovels, bait carriers, nets and blow-up floatation devices.

PETS: Pets are only permitted in Franconia Notch State Park in the designated dog walks in the Flume & Tramway parking lots. Pets are prohibited from Echo Lake Beach, Cannon RV Park, Lafayette Campground, on the Tram and in the Flume Gorge.

Adults (ages 12+): $4.00
Children (ages 6-11): $2.00
Children 5 & under: FREE
* We reserve the right to collect fees from anyone on the beach before 10am.

- All Boat Rentals: $15 / hour; last boat rental, 4:00 pm.
