Snow Report January 19th @ 4:00 p.m.

Today kicked off a legendary weekend ahead here at Cannon with multiple events on deck and beautiful conditions. More on that coming right up. Tomorrow we will open up with 10 lifts and 59 trails. You can expect mostly groomed out terrain out there but note that much of mid mountain did have heavy snowmaking over the past few days and some snowmaking piles may still exist although all of those trails will have grooming.

There will be a race over on Baron’s Run tomorrow and therefore the trail will be closed to the public. Therefore, please access Mittersill with the use of The Fleitman Trail or hike The Saddle as all other open Mittersill terrain will be accessible. Taft Training Slope will have race training as well, but remains open to the public.

Kicking off our event packed weekend tomorrow (Saturday). We have our first freeride series event of the season with a Rail Jam in Tossup. Franconia Ski Club is hosting A Wicked Good Night out with live music, chili, apps, a western themed selfie station & more. We also have family fun night with the Huckerbrook handle tow open for riding under the lights. Sunday we start right back up with Newschoolers Tell A Friend Tour here lapping the parks followed by a raffle and pizza party in Peabody lodge. Also, Sport Thoma will be here in front of Notchview lodge for their on snow demo day to try out your next pair of skis before you buy them. For all the details and an entire list of what’s going down here at Cannon in the upcoming weeks, head over to our events calendar. On our website
