Winter finally made its return and the 2" of new snow that fell Sunday morning should groom-in well for first-tracks. Monday's forecast looks very pleasant with partly sunny skies and a high temperature predicted near 40 at base elevations in the afternoon. Another chance for natural snow is possible on Tuesday morning and then we may even fire-up some of our own snowmaking heading into this weekend.
Monday - We're scheduled to open at 9am with 56 trails and 8 lifts; including Eagle Cliff, the Valar T-Bar, and the Tram (see the trail & lift report for a complete schedule). Nearly all open terrain will be groomed overnight; you can expect mostly loose granular/frozen granular surface conditions, but some areas may be more variable so use caution. Temps are predicted to start the day in the low 20s at all elevations and then rise into the 30s from top-to-bottom by mid-day. Please note: Racing will be in progress on Taft Training Slope so use caution in that area.
Looking Ahead - We're operating a regular lift schedule this week, which means the Tram is closed Tuesday-Thursday; however, the Eagle Cliff chair is open daily through 3/5. Much colder temps return to the area on Thursday and it's likely we'll fire-up snowmaking in key areas across both mountains. That same approaching cold front is also predicted to bring chances for some natural snow. Don't miss our midweek deals: 2-for-$75 on Tuesday & Thursday and just $25 for NH residents on Wednesday (valid NH ID required).
