Cannon has picked up 3-7" of new snow since Tuesday night, including an inch on Thursday from on & off snow showers. We already had the most open trails in NH and the new snow allowed us to open additional terrain like Zoomer Lift Line, Go Green Glade, Lost Boys Glade, The Saddle and the lower portion of Mittersill Lift Line. Friday's forecast is a real winner with sunny skies, light wind, and a high temp predicted near 40...don't miss it!

Friday - We’re scheduled to open at 9am with 73 trails and 7 lifts, including Mittersill, Eagle Cliff and the Tram (see the trail & lift report for a complete schedule). We plan to groom more than 50 trails overnight; you can expect mostly packed powder corduroy for first-tracks on the groomed terrain. The natural terrain has powder stashes to be sniffed out, but use caution as you may encounter thin cover or firmer snow surfaces in places. Race training is planned on Taft Training Slope and Baron's Run at various times; Baron's will be closed to the public during training, but access to and from Mittersill will still be available via Rabbit Path.

Looking Ahead - We have a big race weekend ahead of us and Baron's Run will be closed to the public Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Access to and from Mittersill will still be available via a crossing guard at the Rabbit Path entrance, but please use caution as racing will be in progress. The only way to return to Cannon will be via the TBD trail and the crossing at Rabbit Path. Also, a shuttle will be operating a regular schedule to and from Mittersill and Cannon.

Valar T-Bar Status - Resolution on the T-Bar is approaching quickly. Adjustments from the manufacturer are scheduled to begin on Friday and will likely be done within 48 hours. The lift will be back in operation as soon as the work is complete. We'll keep you updated with additional information.
