Last night’s snowfall here at Cannon Mountain went against all weather modules, and to our surprise, we measured a total of only 1 or 2 inches of new snow at the bottom with 3 some places - but it’s still falling! If that isn’t news that excites you, New Hampshire Residents ski and ride for just $25 on Wednesdays with a valid NH ID. Don’t worry, if you already called in sick to work after reading yesterday’s forecasts, the conditions are still looking good out there.

Wednesday - We’re spinning 5 lifts at 9 am, with 66 trails. This week, some of the best snow was found right under the snow guns on slopes in the front 5 area. This is due to our very own, manmade powder that this year’s massive snow making upgrade has brought to us. Our groomers made passes on nearly 50 trails last night, so there should be plenty of packed corduroy all across the mountain, along with that new dusting of snow to top things off. Racing/race training may be in progress on Time Zone and Taft Training Slope - use caution while traveling through those areas.

Looking Ahead - Snowmaking is temporarily shut-down, but will resume in a few days resurfacing some of the high traffic areas, as well as Taft Training Slope.

Valar T-Bar Status - It looks like a resolution is approaching on the T-Bar. Adjustments from the manufacturer are tentatively scheduled to occur this week, and the lift will be back in operation as soon as the work is complete. We'll keep you updated with additional information.
