Mittersill Area:

Last night was a good night - we picked up 3-4" of new snow at the base area, with more like 6-8" in the higher elevations, and the forecast is calling for an additional 3-6" throughout the day.  All of that on top of the most open trails in NH!  You may even see a few ropes dropping out there today.  Otherwise, we plan to open the summit for top-to-bottom skiing/riding this Friday 12/19.  That means that any snow falling up top today will remain untouched until the Tram and Cannonball lifts start rolling on Friday AM.  Our eye is also fixed on Mittersill, and depending upon what we see for new snow may see Mittersill open sooner than later.  You're definitely going to want to check back with us tonight.  If new snow and the most open trails in the state wasn't tickets are just 2-for-$74.

7:38am update - The word from the summit is that we picked up 6-8" of new snow in the higher elevations last night.  Get ready for a big Friday!

Thursday - We're scheduled to open at 9am with 3 lifts and 58 trails.  ALL of the gladed areas on the mid and lower mountain are now open, including Whiskey Towne (new for 2014/15).  There is a lot of un-groomed terrain out there at the moment, whether man-made or natural, so if you prefer corduroy please take a couple of minutes to review the trail & lift report before heading out.  Please note: race training will be taking place on Lower Cannon today, which remains open to the public.
