A beautiful weekend is forecast - make plans to ski/ride Cannon!

If today was a taste of things to come, then you're in for photographic memories of crystal clear blue skies accentuated by the white mass of Cannon.  Potentially, this is the best weekend weather projection we've seen so far this season, and we have a full lineup of events to back it up.  The Northeast was dealt a pretty crummy hand this year, but with over 6 FEET of natural snow on the season we're in better shape than most.  In the past week we've opened 10 trails including the Global Warming & Go Green Glades, as well as the see-it-to-believe-it TossUp Terrain Park!  Visit Cannon for an unforgettable weekend. 

For Saturday we expect to open with 55 trails and 9 lifts on a mix of loose granular & packed powder conditions.  The Peabody, Tuckerbrook, Cannonball, & Zoomer chairs spin @ 8:30, while the Eagle Cliff, Huckerbrook, & Brookside lifts turn @ 9.  For first tracks head over to the 70-Passenger Aerial Tramway for the 8:15 car.

The newly constructed TossUp Terrain Park is a massive hit!  This park is clearly the biggest & best we've ever engineered.  For more jibbing fun check out the Turkey Trot Park and the Huckerbrook Mini-Park.

February 4: Family Fun Night 4:30-6:30pm in the Peabody Base Area. Kids’ Movie TBD in the Brookside Lodge, Huckerbrook Mini-Park open under the lights for $5 and Apres in the Cannonball Pub with live music from the Pat Foley Band from 3-6 and promotions from Sam Adams Brewery.

February 4: WOKQ & The American Heart Association at Cannon February is National Heart Health Month and we'll be supporting the cause and try to break the world record by assembling the largest human-made red dress on the snow! The WOKQ street team will be broadcasting on site and you'll have a chance to win a 32" flat screen tv - register at their tent in the Peabody Base Area 10am-12pm and don't forget to wear red that day!

February 5: Super Sunday Special It’s baaaack! Tickets 2-for-$68 or 1-for-$43 for Super Bowl Sunday

February 10: The Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge A free, fun race open to all ages and abilities. Bring your friends, bring your family and join in the fun and the excitement of this race series. February 11: Pirates of the High Skis at Cannon! Arrgh! Ski Like a Pirate and Hunt for Ye Treasure! This is a fundraiser for the Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country - a fun and adventurous day includes: treasure maps, costumes, contests, raffles and a day of skiing & riding for a great price and a great cause!
