Mittersill Area:
The Mittersill lift is open 8:30-3:30 on weekends only through April 5th*. The terrain remains open on weekdays with access from Taft Slalom. You may encounter thin cover and natural hazards in spots. Mittersill is for experts only. *The Mittersill terrain will be closed after April 5th, even if conditions still allow. Trail work/maintenance/construction will be in progress.

Things got a little moist today, but there's actually snow in the forecast tonight, so tune in tomorrow morning for the latest.  We're looking at 1-3" of new snow around the base and as much as 3-7" in the higher elevations.  Please note that the Tram is only open March 28 & 29, and is not scheduled to run on Friday.  Friday's surface conditions are hard to predict because any new snow changes everything, so check back in the morning for an update.

Thursday - We're scheduled to open at 9am with 4 lifts and all 81 trails, plus the Mittersill terrain (DJ's Tramline, Kinsman Glade and Middle Hardscrabble may open late).  Again, the Tram is only open on March 28 & 29, and then closes for the season.  Also, note that the Mittersill Double operates on weekends only through April 5th (*see details in the Mittersill box above), while the Mittersill terrain remains open during midweek (see the lift report for a complete lift schedule).  Check back in the morning for an update on grooming and surface conditions.  Race training is scheduled to take place on Gary's and Rocket, which remain open to the public.
